Hello,
Please save the date for the Fall Northeast Blackboard & We=
bCT User Group Meeting on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Villanova Conf=
erence Center. Building on the e-Learning 2.0 concept from the Spring '07 C=
onference at Drexel University, we're planning a theme related to the socia=
l networking habits of teens in regards to how colleges can best prepare fo=
r these future students. We're currently exploring some avenues to recruit =
individuals who were involved with a recent study on this topic to present =
at the meeting. We're also planning to have representatives from Blackboard=
Inc. on hand to provide information on their Scholar, social bookmarking t=
ool. The full agenda will be announced in the near future as well as the me=
eting registration site.
At this time, we're seeking session leaders for the afterno=
on breakout sessions on the topics of Pedagogy, Administrators, and Support=
. We would like to have 1 - 3 session leaders per track with each leader pe=
rforming a mini-presentation, collaborative presentations are encouraged. T=
hese sessions are intended to stimulate and encourage open discussion and s=
haring. To submit a proposal to be a session leader, please go to the follo=
